Im hunting these in platinum, got azelf quick and took a break to get my full shiny dream team and now onto shaymin lol. after that i go to uxie then mesprit. My favorite trio

It's honestly up to how much mental frustration you can take. It's faster and more convenient to hunt solo, but I've heard it's more enjoyable with groups, despite how much slower it ends up being.

Uxie’s defense is definitely a deterrent to shiny hunting them.

Personally I hate an offensive hunt more than a defensive one. Uxie was the easiest of the 3 to hunt bc I lost extra lives at a much slower rate compared to Azelf's Nasty Plot + Dazzling gleam.

@@Elite4W lol I’m having the opposite affect. I’ve been destroying Azelf. Uxie just seems so tedious. I haven’t attempted that one yet.

@@Chtsht23 If you manage to snag any dark or bug type (or even a Steel type), Uxie is an absolute joke. It's attack and moves are the weakest of the 3 so it gives your party more turns to pile on damage. Azelf I failed the most bc It'd always Nasty Plot turn 1 and if I didn't have a super effective move/type to kill it quickly, my entire party would get wiped in 2-4 turns. Very few rental mons have the ability to counter it before it snacks on the kill-fodder NPCs.

@@Elite4W I’ve been getting lucky. I’d get a ghost/dark/bug/fairy type for myself and the NPC’s been getting mons that have paralysis moves. Slowing Azelf down seems to be the key.
