Florida State needs to fire Mike Norvell. After the North Carolina Tar Heels ran over and around the Seminoles, it’s obvious that Norvell has lost at least some of his team. Even the ones still playing hard often look inept.
At one point in the third quarter, the combined total of sacks allowed and forced quarterback runs was higher than passing attempts because of the worst offensive line in the Power 4! I'm a lifelong Canes fan, too--saw Wide Right II and III at the Orange Bowl. And I legitimately feel for the FSU fans. Even during the height of the rivalry, I always respected the FSU program, their fans, and Coach Bowden. Seeing this FSU team implode like this under this coach is just sad.

Portal worked well, until this year. We will have to hit it hard for next year. Get a offensive coordinator that sits in the press box and calls the plays. Get a good defensive coordinator, linebacker coach, running back coach, tight end coach, wide receiver coach. Keep Odell, in the program, but maybe not a on field coach, Surtain is a good recruiter, but not developing the players. Strength coach is not doing his job. Tokars, isn’t developing qbs.I see 6 coaches gone, several off field positions, GM, portal analyst gone

Now I will say this much it is Coach Norvell and staff's jobs to develop their players. At this point continue to play the younger guys, so next season they will have something to look forward too. Don't get angry at DJU, the young man did the best he could with his offense. The offense was not on the same page as DJ. If DJ comes back next season, he might be a threat. Mario will have to prove next season if he can continue going the road he's going. I'm a Cane fan as you all can see, I will tell you FSU fans this..... Miami will be a handful next season. Emory Williams has some good weapons sitting on the shelf just waiting for him to expose next season. Defense will be young but will have some experience and still be dangerous "the season looks promising".
