I caught the rocket trail and flight from Mesa, AZ, on my way back from my mailbox. Lucky for me they shoot them down towards Baja, and it was a sight to see. Hope to see more, maybe even photograph one, sometime.

15:40 Wow the sight of the rocket in front of the sunset was beautiful! It looked like the rocket was taking off from the Sun.

Congratulations on another successfull launch and landing .. the pictures videos are always amazing -- it blows me away everytime I see one…. And to be able to keep reusing booster and rockets is great… better than dumping in the oceans-- well done to all who work on it… as a child I watched Thunderbirds with TB1 taking of and landing and 50 years on Elon and all in space x are doing it now for real…. keep going your an amazing team… best regards.. to all at launch pad….

A nose-cone camera view would be cool if it is possible.

There is video of several of the fairing halves coming back. The video is here on KZbin somewhere. It's quite the sight to behold.

The gravity of the situation is that rockets can NOT get high enough to show the mythical blue marble

...except when they do, of course.

You know we can tell when you thumb-up your OWN comment, right?
@NorthernChev
@NorthernChev 6 күн бұрын
Correct. No rocket, so far, has EVER gotten that high... Do you know why? Because they don't HAVE to. Rockets are ONLY the tool they use to accelerate probes, satellites, Lunar Landers and all the other things we've sent into deep space, fast enough to reach escape velocity. All a rocket has to do is get the aforementioned probes/satellites/etc up to speed, just above the atmosphere and let them go on their own. The SpaceX Starship will be the FIRST "rocket" to make it all the way to the Moon and back. No other rocket has EVER NEEDED to "go that high". That's the nice thing about orbital mechanics, which I'm guessing you have ZERO knowledge of, by your silly comment. The rocket itself doesn't HAVE to go that high. --> But that doesn't stop you from commenting on something you know nothing about, does it?

Just so you know --> EVERY comment you make here and every reply I make to your silly comments puts MONEY DIRECTLY into this channel and the space industry's pockets. Keep up the good work trolling space channels, you're helping the cause with EVERY single reply!

Watch the GEOS-U launch and the coast up through Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit... you can see the blue marble for an extended period of time, even see it getting further away as the stage and satellite climbed to 22,300 miles altitude...
