At 38:51 that was me as the guardians ship Slippery Sloop. The reaper ship I was fighting was a SOB using unlimited phantom and wraith balls and aimbot. Gods I wish the game had anti cheat cause at level 40 getting champion status felt good but then horrible to lose it that way. Need some justice!

Clif I completely agree with you with pirates life and legend of monkey island except for lair of lechuck which is the final legend of monkey island tall tale

You hurt me with your hate towards Monkey Island..but its true. The tall tale is definitely for people who grew up with the games and want to walk down memory lane and interact with the npcs you learned to love in those games. it is built like a 3rd point and click adventure game. It is definitely not for people who know nothing of Monkey Island and want more Sea of Thieves Lore.

the diving thing is usefull to new players that dont know how to fight , just simply dive your ship to any place a quest can get you and boom escaped the enemy

What an awesome thing to come home to! (Spent the day completing preboarding of the not-so-fun kind! Health care provider!) Thank ya for making these Cliff. I'll probably buy this game when time allows thanks in no small part to your epic storytelling! GOOD call on the cats btw. It's tough to acclimatize an already "single owner" animal twice in such a short period of time. Worst case scenario, it reinforces any pre-existing feeling of being without a pride which will consistently have (their) back. Best case? They are your brothers' cats when you come return! LoL (I play permadeath in lots of games! It's awesome!~)

Pro tip you don’t have to sail after diving just keep re proposing the voyage until you get the island

You should try to sink a ship with a cannon row bout. Because it can shoot forward as long as you can stay behind them they can’t hit you with cannons. You could also use it as way to shoot at an opponent from 2 angles

tried playing with randoms after not playing for like 5-6 years i think. PPl either left or griefed me, kinda sad. Dont know if i did anything wrong, i did some normal forts and island hopped for a bit
