Being proudful is not the way. Humbleness is a strength. Pride is an indication of weakness. It takes emotional and psychological strength to endure what is mentally or rather emotionally painful. Your honesty is admirable. You admitting that you did cry, were sad, and maybe should not had hit him takes strength and humbleness. It is also admirable that your unfortunate experience was lessons taught and for safety, will always be remembered and obeyed.

Cousin Tripp, Here I am spending Christmas with you. Not a bad way to spend the holiday! Watching your older videos, and this was a great Storytime! Lesson:. Don't go somewhere without your own arrangements! Love From Orlando

What makes me sooo happy about these stories is that they all had a happy ending... you made it out of this bull shit and are living overseas living your BEST LIFE. This game out here is no joke, and many people don’t have happy outcomes (too many pitfalls and traps to get sucked into) I sincerely hope there are young cousins listening to your stories, as a lesson. The main lesson is never EVER trust no body. Of something sounds too easy and cool, it’s a set up. These dudes are like vultures and prey on the young and naive.

Those "queens" mannnnn.... That's one of the reasons I stepped back from that scene. First of all, I kept enough money (or a credit card) on me for cab fare for emergencies. Those queens (or ladybugs), could turn on you, on a dime! Especially, if they got you in a strange city and place away from your friends etc. . I learned to "never" go any where if I didn't really know the person and if, I did, I would swing it and get my own hotel room and car. Hindsight is a B... Just words from a former gay OG.

I get the feeling that a lot of this reverse migration from NYC and Cali has brought a lot of phuckery to Atlanta. That sounds exactly like some weird stuff that would happen in the A. One person screws you over, another seemingly nice person(that claims to be a friend of the other) comes to the "rescue" but it's really them sort of just trying to pass you around or pretend to at least. ATL always had some weird stuff(that's part of southern culture and having a bunch of bougie black people who actually think they have real wealth) before it got "hot", but this NYC story just sounds too familiar in terms of how it functions now. I'm not gone even talk about those Floridians bringing their scam game to GA. Leave all this trashy stuff where you came from if you are serious about starting anew somewhere else. Instead people wanna bring it with them which is messed up because you would think blacks (especially black gay folks) would rather look out for each other when we concentrate in places like the A or NYC. But it just look like some dog eat dog exploitation competition.

This reminds me of my first time visiting NYC...I was in true awe....the whole city took me by surprise, but this doesn't surprise me....before I moved to the city, it was the same thing....people from the city was just trying to get me to come and just "chill", and I had the same reaction as you....I didn't spend the whole time coming there, just to be "cooped up in the house like a chicken" man.... Sounds like you found you an Old Head....that just wanted some company.... Little did I know, a lot of people in NY is just straight up selfish man....and grimey with it too.... on some reak f**k shit man... I bet we could probably compare stories man about all of the s***y experiences that we dealt with. I tell you man, the more I watch your videos, the more I see a direct reflection of the shit I went through as well...not to take anything away from you...but just pointing out the fact that I really do get you man....because I've been there....from visiting the city, to actually living there..."Two Totally Different Experiences"..... I like the fact that you checked that situation though.... but whoa, the dude tried to hit you because he tried to front and you called him out.... Man, he got what he deserved.... but its fucked up what he did to you though....he could've at least gave you your stuff. Real talk man, I wouldn't have left you though....that is some straight up b******t.... Regardless of if there was a disagreement, I would have still had enough class to at least take you back to get your things and take you to Times Square or the airport. I agree though, that would've ruined the whole pride experience for me as well....Some people can be real immature a**holes man. Listening to this makes me want to go back in time and beat the crap out of that guy..... I don't like when people do foul stuff like that. I'm glad to know that you had a "white-knight" to help you out in your time of need though. Man, you're right with the friends thing though... I learned that lesson from NYC as well before moving away.... But your right, you only need 2 or 3 solid friends (roots).. but then there are the the casual acquaintances that will come and go (branches) and then there are those associates that are only there for a season (leafs) But this is one thing I can say though...is that if a person can survive NYC, then they can survive anywhere on the globe... real talk. And this experience has made you stronger than you know. I really hope that when Mr. Right finds, you, you will recognize him. I'm glad you shared your experience, and I look forward to commenting on your future videos
