Started watching you guys between the first Alaska series and Central America. Been hooked ever since! I detected maybe some regret or embarrassment for not being more experienced in Alaska on your first big trip. I remember watching Alaska/Yukon for the first time, and my jaw was dropped through most of it. I was shocked at how well-planned everything was, and how maturely everyone approached issues. What's so extraordinary about that trip is that you guys tackled Alaska and Yukon so early in your endeavor, and did it well!!! I've binged every series, as well as caught nearly every episode launch day. Alaska/Yukon remains my favorite XO trip for many reasons, and it remains a bucket-list destination.

I’d take an MTV. It can traverse anything, haul anything, run on almost anything, and parts are everywhere because of Mercedes Freightliner, and the rest can be welded or fixed in a truck shop.

Paul Marsh and ASPW did a really good chat about having a pack of smokes in the car for crossing borders in Africa. So when I saw the smokes that was my first thinking it was part of your border kit,

Have you ever had issues with security carrying all of this expensive equipment on an overlander vehicle? In rural communities? Different Countries? What are some things to prepare for in situations like this with the risk of dealing with bad people?

Can you share your thoughts on the two Tacoma set ups and what you might change if you were solo rig? Decked/GFC vs PCOR with a RTT? I have a GFC/decked Tacoma, but that PCOR is calling to me...

Did you guys ever actually have any bear encounters? Also, the speed limit on the Dalton is not high speed. The speed limit is 50mph. It is such so that it isn’t dangerous AND when you pass someone going the other way, you’re not breaking their windshield.
