Restream will allow you to stream to your personal Facebook homepage for free but if you want to go to a public page or group you will need to pay the $19/month fee. As of March, 1, 2021, Castr.io has no free streaming options. There is a 7-day free trial and then you have to pay $9.99/month for the Basic plan or higher depending on the number of concurrent streams you want to send out. The Basic plan does allow you to stream to a Facebook public page. The best option I have found is a plug-in for OBS that allows you to output your stream to multiple locations, including Facebook pages. Best of all, it's free. The only catch is that you need to be using OBS Studio and every stream you send out requires more upload bandwidth. Sending out two 6000Kbps streams will require 12Mbps of upload speed. That being said, it's nice to have options.

I have been using Restream for a while and so far my experience has been terrific. I haven't had very many issues and generally the issues I have had could easily be from my own end. I use it specifically for streaming to Twitch and youtube at the same time. I haven't tried others yet, but there are more options. Also, Restream.io was really easy to setup in OBS.

Great video and very timely for me. My wife does 3 live videos a week on Facebook, but I want her to branch out on KZbin as well. We currently use Teradek so that I can do the mixing for her and she can concentrate on doing the content. We use 2 iPad pros one as a camera and one as a mixer. That way I can mix and help monitor while she is taping. We bought Ecamm live, it is nice, but we can't separate the mixing from my wife's iPad so I can do the mixing/monitoring. I think that Castr will be a great addition to this setup. Thanks.

Thanks Joella! You can use Switchboard and Restream straight from within Ecamm (might need the beta version) hopefully Castr will be there as an option soon, but you can still use it if you select RTMP streaming, just wont get the comments through as easily

Hi, we're having issues with Wirecast sending data to Castr via rtmp. It worked once, and now if we use the same stream key and address it's saying it cannot find the IP address. Tried restarting everything, but keep getting the same error. Any ideas?

it's a bummer that Castr desided to change their pricing with no free option. I can live with restream's brand on my stream and learning the program may not be so hard. Still a bummer that they got greedy. Thanks for the info really helped

So for a 2019 video you completely missed the fact that the first company to ever provide streaming from one system to multiple platforms was NewTek, via a TriCaster. They were doing this before vMix and others. You could stream to YT and FB Live when advanced edition first came out.

If you use tube buddy and post your video on KZbin it’ll allow you to post on multiple different platforms. Or use hoot suite free version and you can do it there

You can use castr but you'll need to use it as RTMP so you will not be able to bring the comments into Ecamm at this point
