The reason Yuto is my favorite competition skater is because he doesn’t rest on his laurels. He just keeps upping his game. A lot of them just keep doing the same things, and maybe at some point the judges will start docking them for it and they have to get new tricks.

I really respect the female Japanese coach miss Miho Miyamoto she loves skateboarding and is a great coach. She even put out a decent street skateboarding part in the past, she knows her stuff.

That's how most Asian cultures say their names. Everyone said Yao Ming's name wrong when he was in the NBA. He just let is slide. It should have been Ming Yao. Most 'Mericans don't know or care to know.

@@buckashisensei Yeah, commentators aren't the brightest knives in the drawer. They also call every crook and overcook just a nosegrind. They have also called a tail blunt a tail slide. I don't think they grasp the subtle tweaks of some tricks either.

i know it still got a high score, but Ginwoo's second run was STILL underscored. it was perfect with ridiculous tricks from front to back. there were several great tricks in yuto's run but he was pretty much asleep at the wheel for it and the fact that it still scored higher than ginwoo's tells me that the judges were asleep at the wheel too. i'm calling out the nyjah effect for being at play here - giving yuto a higher score just for being yuto.

Yuto skated well.....imo ginwoo got robbed on that one........if you give higher score for hard tricks...then you have to score sora and ginwoo higher too......their skate tricks were way more hard......96 for a nollie 180 nosegrind lol.

Can someone explain how the qualifiers work? like if 1st 2nd 3rd is Japan then those guys go, but what about other countries. I've been watching all of these qualifiers in series and they never explain how it works lol.

It's by points of all the tournaments so the first 22 people make it (in skateboarding I'm not sure about other sports) but If a country has more than three in the top 22 they only select the first 3 then move to the next skater in the ranking so yeah even if you're like no 25 you can still make it if there's more than three people in the top 22 from the same country/ies

@@aeon123go He can get some constructive criticism lol the style needs work. It looks a little ridiculous crouching for like 4 seconds like a little crab before going for a trick and he often flips in, then just taps the rail, and flips out. Its amazing but certainly not pretty.

@48:46 an 88.55 is a robbery score. That run was an easy 89.5-90.25 he utilized the course. Had a ton of mixup and packed tricks in every section. All fairly clean too. No major sketch landings.

The question is non-debatable on if lands will use Roundup for the highest yield. But what I wonder is what's special about Asparagus other than it's been hybrid to be resistant to Roundup.
