In Hamburg Germany where Gun Control is very strict some guy went into a church and shot a bunch of people and by the time the cops arrived the gunmen and several people were dead. One of the victims was a pregnant woman who lost the baby. That happened in a country that doesn't allow people to own guns and yet the crazy dude managed to get a gun anyway.

Nothing because you don't have guns. Mao said political power flows from the barrel of a gun. Communist China doesn't allow private citizens to own guns and that's why it's still in power. The same is true of Myanmar which is why the Rebels have had such a hard time fighting back because they had to take their guns from the soldiers that oppressed them. Germany was taken over by the NAZI's if German citizens still had guns they could have killed them before they killed 6 million Jews and started a World War that killed millions of people. I know you think Guns are the only problem in our society but there are other issues like Drugs and Crime, mental illness and SSRIs. People were killed in Austria by Extremists and your gun control measures didn't stop that. Gangs in the US wouldn't lose access to guns if we banned all private Gun ownership because guns pour into our borders from Mexico every single day and the ATF and FBI can't trace them because they aren't registered. The only reason your gun control policy seems to work is because your an island and don't border a failed state like Mexico. The only way we could make gun control work here would be to close the border with Mexico permeantly.

I finally saw this whole feature which though it did not cover the entire world (obviously that may be too much) covered major news ref events in your selection fairly comprehensively. I am not partial to news but your evolving format is It keeps moving it's focus should eventually cover the world reasonably well. You must do something about being able to control the advertisement slots ... They can come at critical communication times when you want the viewers attention on the story... When the advertiser's step in to grab the eyeballs.. and viewers may switch off instantly with the advertisers being hated further interruption and this losing the valued targets, and you losing the viewers because they couldn't be bothered with irritating disturbance by unplanned breaks in what they are watching... Do consider measured breaks between stories for advertisers...
