No words to describe the brilliance of this version of a fantastic song. Fish era Marillion produced truly great music

Lucky enough to have seen him in his prime from the beginning before EMI deal but I couldn't see him again because it would not be as it was Compare his voice to Steve h at a similar age there is no comparison and that breaks my ❤I bought a ticket for his farewell tour to support him for all the good times I went to every concert at Hammersmith odeon in the early days But the brutal truth is you aren't what you were

This song is simply a beautiful masterpiece. But I feel some sadness for Fish's voice, his vocal chords are all messed up.
@subtus6 жыл бұрын
He said in an interview that he used his voice the wrong way all his life and only when he grew older someone told him about that. Basically what he said is that he destroyed his vocal chords prematurely or else he would be would be doing well today.
@TobiaTesan6 жыл бұрын
And yet I feel that while he can no longer perform the older repertoire, his current gruff voice still works wonders for this kind of intimate acoustic balladeering. I wish he'd make a couple more acoustic albums in the mold of Yin and Yang.

It's such a shame listening to this. Some of my favourite singers have succumbed to time and years of straining their voices and really can't do it anymore. One of Fish's best lyrics. Fortunately, Marillion still do this occasionally and perform a stunning version.
@fritzwillems8589 Жыл бұрын
