It would be nice if they were around long enough to make a Secret Wars 2 set. That is when I started reading comics and got me to buy multiple books such as the X-Men, New Mutants, all Spiderman, and everything else that tied in with it. Great set of cards and congrats on the hits

For someone whose totally starting off collecting Marvel cards. What do you suggest doing first? What to buy? Buy singles? Hobby box?

Definitely singles unless you just want the memory and experience of opening a box. Otherwise buy singles cause then you are not wasting money on cards you don’t want

Crazy enough the Secret Wars Story Line was a way For Marvel to sell toys. It was said Marvel approached Kenner to make toys to compete with DC Super Powers. Kenner asked Marvel to create a story with several different characters so people can get to know them. The Toys were awesome but the Story was even better.
