I saw this performance at the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, and it stands out as one of the most inspiring, emotionally evocative things that I've ever experienced. Truly magical. Thank you for this incredible experience.

Fan of Vicky Chow for few years now. Alone at home in Brussels. Getting dark outside. My 18 year old daughter (loves gangsterrap) has a sleep over somewhere else. Choice on tv is between soccer and soccer, so its off. A good beer and Vicky Chow. Dad's allright.

I saw and heard this piece at the National Gallery of Art East Wing opening, 3rd row, dead on to Vicki Chows remarkable finger work. The electronics live in conjunction with the piano is louder and truly mesmerizing. I was in complete wonderment after the performance. I had witnessed a one in a life time event. Live and upfront. Truly amazing.

@@steven1822 many aspects of the piece are - to me - so bland: the harmony, rhythmic shape and detail, the raw piano sonority - all of these are used with so little imagination. The tech stuff is fun, but otherwise I just find it really boring (hence "like paint drying...") sorry. peace back at you.

Yeah, I can see that. However, this is abstract music. The idea behind it is that you have to make your own perceptions and ideas. Whereas with songs that have an agenda in trying to get the listener to think in a certain way i.e. like Rap, Pop, Indies, Rock only have a single theme, and therefore the dynamic of that music is limited. This music is a meditation, and generally, you will only appreciate its depth if you have a mature musical ear
