Yasuke can run through the barred door where Naoe has the trap door pathway. So Naoe cant get through the door and Yasuke cant go through the trap door but they both lead to the next area. So even level design has different pathways for each character in the same way that in the mission start playing as Naoe you have to eliminate undercover Shin-obi but Yasuke you fight Samurai. So it isnt just pick a character to experience the same path/objective all the time.

Im generally excited, but we really need to see more of the open world free roaming stuff. A lot of the lure of this setting is that wandering ronin vibe and so i hope the open world empowers that gameplay style and feel with dynamic stuff that can happen rather than just random bandits in a camp or roaming enemies going nowhere. All previous open world games set in feudal Japan, from GOT to rise of the ronin have not quite captured that feel with dynamic open world events, hopefully this gets closer. I don't want it to boil down to just random fights or b-lining to the next quest. Make free roaming an actual feature you can spend hours on just moving through and create a story outside maine and side quests. Also, UBI need to show exactly what the combat and stealth difficulty options change. How dynamic is the AI when you make it more difficult for both. Hopefully higher difficulty isn't just enemies are tankier and you are weaker. The stealth seems like it will be a strong highlight, especially if you don't mark enemies and really get immersed into the improved AI behavior. As for the story im really not worried as all i wanted was a more serious and grounded tone with dark aspects, which seems to be what UBI is going for. I was personally kind of tired of the fantastical tone of Odyssey and Valhalla. I really didn't want that as a core theme for a Japan setting. I like when it's hinted at and played into but in a more grounded way, kind of like the Iki Island stuff from GOT. Lastly is that interaction mechanic with guards where they ask you to put your weapon away and you can 'comply' or 'refuse'. That kinda reminded me or RDR2 where you can respond to basically everyone dynamically in a positive or negative way. They can really do a lot with that simple mechanic in different situations that elevate the ability to interact organically with NPCs and i hope to God they did more with that! Imagine a situation where you randomly come across an NPC by the roadside and they seem to need your help so they call out to you and you can comply and choose to help and maybe they lead you someplace but it turns out to be an ambush! Or they genuinely need your help to transport them somewhere or save them from bandits and they give you a reward. That's the kind of stuff we want from free roam. Dynamic unmarked side activities that feel organic and that you can interact with. Not just static events taht don't lead to anything and only amount to 'kill that random enemy'.

I don't think they should of not had Yusuke as a playable character cuz he's a historical character and as we seen cause tension he could of been a npc or a ally and I don't know if its true but I saw videos he was added due to. Sweet baby Inc but I feel like ubisoft should of also hired some Japan historians since there seems to be conflicts

I'm liking forward to playing it. I per order the game I like assassin's creed . The only assassin's creed games I don't like is Rogue, Valhalla, Odyssey. My favorite is black flag and Origins. Assassin's creed 2.

you don't get the voices in english; it is polite way of talking, so it is restrained; in japanese voice it will have more intonations as part of the room reading spirit, but i see no problem with the voices, it is to depict the japanese culture of avoiding conflicts most of the time

With the dodge and crouch buttons being changed aren't they the same as the Horizon games now? I think it shouldn't be too hard to get used to because we have a game that already uses those button layout choices.

She was always cannon in assassin's creed odyssey. I would be very interested in replying assassin's creed odyssey in the future if they updated the game to also have a cannon mode. I think it's kinda messed up the last to female characters were cannon but ubisoft chose to ues the male version in most of the promotional PR and trailers. The female characters are sweet but when i load those games they show the male characters on game art and the box art i had to filp my cover art of assassin's creed odyssey to have her on the cover of my game case even knowing she was cannon it's really weird
