The SC made the decision according to our constitution, which was given by Congress and was opposed by RSS and its affiliated organisations. Triple Talak is a progressive legalisation that is appreciated by all but the BJP; making it a criminal offence is objectionable if a Hindu abandons his wife as Modi has done; it is not a criminal offence. I wonder if, under USC, if a Hindu abandons his wife, it will be made a criminal offence. Our foreign policy is in a mess.
