That officer story made zero sense. If they're driving separately, they're social distancing. When they get out, they're still distancing. When they get to their spots, they're still distancing. It's not like the 5 buddies would be standing right beside each other. They always find their own individual spots. That said, when I did groceries on Thursday I seen 7 cars parked by a bridge overlooking the Bayfield River just a hair west of Clinton, ON and all 7 people were fishing about 30-50 feet apart from each other.
