I remember thinking, at the beginning of season 1, that she was the weakest link in the cast but she's been making me eat my own words with her performance later on. It may not have been intentional, but I feel like Malick and Deke mirror each other. They're both living with the legacy of their parents. They're both driven by insecurity and their ego. How they direct that insecurity and ego is what sets them apart. In spite of his tendency to seek attention and adoration, Deke still largely wants to do right by the people around him. Malick wants to play God and get out from the shadow of Hydra and his family.

hi, mrs. Henstridge. I have a question for the writers. Since they write each their episode, how do they manage to be consistent with character choices and dialogue and not unconsciously inflict their personal view of each character on the show? I know that Aos have had great character development and defining in the first seasons, but how did they achieve that? because sometimes you can tell what sort of writer wrote an episode (a maan not nailing women right, or an adult not getting teenagers right, a multilingual written by a monolingual), but AoS seems to me to be pretty consistent and in tune to different demographics (especially with a diverse cast) without seeming unrealistic or incorrect, or have a character say something out of character for them.

Lol they kidnapped you AGAIN. I just saw a comment of someone who summed up all the times she's been kidnapped and wow that's a lot. I got sooooo excited when Daisy and Nathaniel faced each other. It didn't end up being a huge battle, more of a sad moment for daisy (seeing her mom who is still good die) and left us with more questions. Is daisy never going to be born now? Won't Jiaying survive bc she technically died when Haul cut her to pieces, but daisy's father 'put her back together' and she lived. And I'm so curious to see how screwed up the timeline is really! Oh god I wrote a whole paragraph again. Anyway I'm so excited to see how the final mission ends!!

I started watching Agents of Shield almost 1 and half months back.
