@@SaqibRana-lh1eo india didn't want pak to come...it was an obligation as host.... all sort of implicit messages were sent....visas for players were delayed, reporters and fans were not given visas...all to no avail. Shamelessness meant they turned up anyway... mostly because of two reasons...they thought they could spin a story that they still came and use moral pressure on india to come. Secondly, if they didn't come, they won't get icc money.... unlike bcci, pcb needed that money.

Indian government will think of security reasons only for cricket team. 2. Indian government don't care for the lives of people who play sports other than cricket. 3. Indian government or BCCI will bring nationalism only when it comes to cricket. Are they blind that they can't/don't see that other sports people who went to Pakistan are also representing India? Don't nationalism reason apply on them. This shows complete hypocrisy from Indian side. Firstly, there is no need to bring "terrorism point" into sports, art, trade etc. Secondly, if Indian government really want to take a stand of this kind like connecting everything to terrorism - then be brave / have courage to stick to it on all fronts rather than bringing it only for cricket.

@@jeetydv04 Firstly, I m an Indian and not a Pakistani. Secondly, Pakistan may be hypocritical on many issues & I don't care what it's doing because it's not my country. Thirdly, I do care about policy decisions taken by my country India & I wish it is not hypocritical. This is the point I made where it sends sportspeople of other sports but makes an argument of terrorism when it comes to cricket. If you don't feel this a hypocrisy, then you keep saying whatever you want - but for me this is hypocrisy & I don't want my country to have such a poor policy. I don't care what Pakistan does in terms of cricket like whether they will play in India or not (which is why I never mentioned in my comment) - basic reason for this is I m not Pakistani & not bothered about their hypocrisy.

However, both the government and the board have the right to make decisions in thier own interest without worrying about how Pakistan will be affected. Absolutely, the Indian government should not send any of its players to Pakistan for any sport. However, the government also knows the nature of its relationships with respective countries and assesses the potential benefits and drawbacks accordingly.
