There should be a mistrial point system for F' ups and once so many points are accumulated it's automatic. It's crazy to give an unredacted version of something to a witness and it's even crazier that the prosecution seems to not think there's anything wrong with it or forsee there possibly being a problem that could easily be avoided by not giving them that. And if it came up while he was on the stand with it before he read it and the defense said something, ask to approach and explain and either mark out whatever it is with a sharpie or give the witness a redacted copy.

Why hasn't any of the defense attorney's caught the fact that the redacted version on the screen in the courtroom did not have any other hash tags after the witness stopped reading at first. Yet Ms. Hylton told him to keep reading which proves that she knew he was reading from the original unredacted copy, because there was nothing else to read on the screen we were all looking at. So this proves she purposefully elicited the hash tag "free Quay" from the witness, off of the unredacted version we could not see on the screen.
@Lena-nu4zw2 ай бұрын

@mjmj89802 ай бұрын
Westmoreland told Hylton before the witness was questioned that the paper copy was unredacted.
@Vincere2072 ай бұрын
@@mjmj8980 No, the point I'm making is Ms. Hylton tried to act like she didn't intentionally nor did she want the hash tag "free Quay" to come out, and that's why she said she put up the redacted version on the screen for all to see. I'm saying she's lying about not intentionally wanting the hash tag "free Quay" to come out because the witness had finished reading everything that was displayed on the redacted version. Then after he had finished reading everything on the redacted version, Ms. Hylton then told him to keep reading, which elicited the hash tag "free Quay" statement out of the witness. So that means Ms. Hylton knew the witness was reading from the unredacted version because there was nothing else to read on the redacted copy that was displayed on the screen. So when the Judge wouldn't grant a mistrial with prejudice because she felt like Ms. Hylton didn't elicite that statement from the witness intentionally, because of the look on Ms. Hylton's face after the witness said it, holds no weight. I'm saying why didn't any of the defense lawyers catch that fact and argue the point that it had to be intentional on Ms. Hylton's part because of all the points I'm stated.

If this was actually a just court, a mistrial would've been granted. Long ago! However, I don't want one!!!! The state has no case so this trial has to be seen all the way through lol

@@Nikosister Nan. They had to have a convo multiple times about things just like when they took this long break about whether they would accept a mistrial without prejudice. They had a break when the witnesses say something they’re not supposed to. They have a “break” when they approach. It’s not always necessarily a “break” we just can’t hear what’s going on
@kingriger772 ай бұрын
Breaks always seem to be in favor of prosecution and mostly when the state has dug itself a hole.

That’s what they do. Law and Crime SHOULD NOT LEAVE US HANGING BUT LET US KNOW IF ON RECESS, BREAK, GONE FOR DAY.
