Great performance i like the fact that he doesnt lipsync when he performes live. Almost all performers lipsync when they perform live because they cannot dance and sing at the same time but he sang well considering hes moving all over the stage. Gave the fans a great performance.

There are very few artist that can dance and sing. Most artist focus on the dance routines and lip sink the song. That being said, much respect to Jason. I will have to admit that the choreography and execution is a solid B+ with lots of energy. Regarding singing, about a C+. You will notice that Jason really struggles with his voice for the first minute but at about 1:15 it looks like he rips out his ear piece out of frustration, after this moment the singing improves. Overall, a solid B.

Ok so I'm pretty critical of live performances because it seems todays chart toppers usually suck live. Now i love todays music but some of these artists just aren't very good singers. However, this was pretty solid. Its no different from Usher or Chris Brown which by the way, Usher copied Michael Jackson, Chris Brown copied Usher, and now Derulo is copying them. That said i like all three of them, but if you watch, Usher doesn't even try to sing he just dances and plays the track.

In one ways it sounds terrible but if you consider its recorded so the video quality may be bad plus with talent shows they have a habit of playing the backing track at the wrong level or sounds (if you notice half way through he takes out his ear piece) and also he had 4 days to put the whole performance together. All in all he did a pretty good job of it. You deffinetly cant knock his stage presence.
