When it comes to building your legs, it does not take much. Even though they are a larger muscle group, it doesn’t require a lot of work to build your legs. These are 3 exercises you can do to build your overall legs in strength and muscle building.
Some of these exercises have a little twist to help work the muscles differently and have more time under tension. If you add more time under tension to your leg workouts, you will be surprised as to how fast you can build muscle in your legs.
Here are the only 3 leg exercises you need to build muscle:

Exercise #3: LEG PRESS 21s

Looks like a good routine so I'll definitely give that a go. It's not clear thought if you do all three sets on one exercise before moving to the next.

I been exercise since grade school started lifting weights at 13 years old just to be healthier than yesterday I’m 51 now and not gonna count 1001-1010 but do you bro ✌🏽

Can I use my Smith machine to do these exercises? I don't have a gym membership or that machine. I plan on placing a pad on the ground and using the bar.

Can you recommend exercises for knee injury over the age of 50 from hiking 4 miles a day 7 days a week for 5 months? I'm currently on the mend, haven't hiked in a month, it took that long for the pain to subside, right knee more than the left one. Left one is not as bad but right knee is stiff and flares up when I walk too much. I ended up buying 4 knee sleeves and braces and for the first 3 weeks I had to wear one on my right knee everyday.

You might want to check out KZbin videos from the Knees Over Toes Guy (KOTG). I'm 59. Two years ago my knees were terrible. I started doing KOTG exercises and stretches, and it has done wonders. My knees (and hips and ankles) are the best they've been since my 20's.

Cut back on volume, you’re not in your 20’s anymore, or suck it up and live with the pain.

This reply is way beyond a KZbin comment. Need proper nutrition first or won't heal. Next proper exercises (could try a local sports physical therapist), if that is not enough see a sports doctor. Or you could throw all that in the trash and do some research on bpc157

I'll try these on my next leg day. I've been doing 3 sets of 20 reps of walking lunges with 35# plates in each hand.

Please give us a home gym version. I have a squat rack but my knees and back cannot take heavy weight anymore. No leg extension or leg curl machine.

Your starting point for your leg extensions violates everything I’ve ever heard from a Sports Orthopedic surgeon or a PT. You are going down beyond 90 degrees. I’ll try the “tricon” idea, but my knees apparently need better care than yours.

Although I love the leg press, it's been slammed as not being that good of an exercise to truly activate the leg muscles.As for the prone leg curls, the seated leg curls are superior.

Probably because most people use to much weight with machines, which are better used with higher reps lower weight

Sorry, but your Tricons are just Cons! There is science that debunks the effectiveness of most of what you are having people do! You are wasting time and fatigue resources for almost NO positive result! Training muscles in the shortened portion of a movement significantly adds to fatigue, but adds nothing to growth stimulation! Static holds have also been shown to build fatigue, but add nothing to growth stimulation! You lost me completely with this video as it goes against current research.
