@@houseofsharpeis9366 I will say this it is one of the MOST efficient skimmer have ever owned. The extra swirling to the top was ingenious of Nyos to design. Only thing wish mine had not been broken and all routing chips from a dule router bit.

Thanks for this vid. Do you know if there’s room in the collection cup’s bottom to install a small 3/8” OD drain outlet? I’m trying to decide between this Nyos and and a Simplicity 120...id’ like the ability to drain skimmate into my separate reservoir (with auto shutoff float sensor).

It has a drain outlet that you can hook a hose up to. This is a great skimmer that we use in house on several of our display tanks.

@@LiveAquariacom The 120 does not have an drain outlet on the cup...you are confused with the larger models. Same question...what is the best way to mod the 120 cup for drainage? This is the only thing keeping the 120 model from being perfect.

Hy, my nyos is 6 Monti old. Sometimes he stops working and all i see is microbubbles in the sump. Why is this? And what do i do? Greetings Domenique

I have noticed once in a while that when I unplug the skimmer to clean the collection cup that the pump does not generate bubbles when plugged back in because the air tube that goes from the silencer to the nozzle fills with water. so what I do is slowly lift the skimmer out of the water so the water can drain out of the air hose to the nozzle and then the bubbles can be generated again.
