Excellent video, really helpful. I was going to get a bi colour dotty back for my nano reef but now I’m going to see if I can get a candy basslet or a royal gramma.

Good video, would love to hear more about compatibility
@LiveAquariacom4 жыл бұрын
Compatibility (mixing) can be tricky with some of the species. Some aquarists have success mixing species while others do not. A large established tank with ample coral and rock work increases chances for success. Thanks for watching!

Is there a lifespan noted anywhere? I have had one for 10 years, but yet the only reference I have for captive bred and aquarium life expectancy is 5-6 years.

I have a 32g tank and would really like to get a Liopropoma. I have a yasha goby and pistol shrimp. Do you think the pistol shrimp would be alright?
@LiveAquariacom3 жыл бұрын
Should be ok as long as the shrimp isn't too small. Thanks for watching!

I am new to the aquarium hobby could i house these guys with starry gobies or what other fish do you recommend with starry gobies.
@LiveAquariacom3 жыл бұрын
These should be fine with Starry Gobies as long as your aquarium is not to small. Most basslets do well with other peaceful Gobeis, Blennies, etc. as long as the aquarium is 30 gallons or larger. Thanks for watching!

can black cap basselet and royal gramma be kept together
@LiveAquariacom3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes... Some aquarists have had success introducing them at the same time in a larger aquarium (over 4' long) with lots of rock and structure.

The Gramma may be territorial depending how long it has been in the tank. Thanks for watching!

Will the gold assessor be territorial with other basslets?

If you have a large enough aquarium and plenty of rock and coral structure they shoul be ok together. Thanks for watching!

Just picked up a Royal Gramma today and he went to bottom of the tank into a small cave. I couldn’t find him at all after a few hours of him being in the tank. I used the light on my phone to find him and he’s beside a rock. But he ain’t moving at all that I saw. He almost looked like he was dead. But there was a 1.5 inch opening in my Marco rock where he’s parked his butt. Hopefully he’s not smoked and he will come out. He’s in the tank with 2 small clown fish, and a small yellow watchman goby. And the goby is weird also as it’s greyish white with light black stripes. The store said he was captive bred and he will turn yellow in the next bit. Personally I think I have a albino yellow watchman goby lol

You might have better luck at your LFS. I know mine almost always has chalk bass and some other ones in stock
