After you watch this, check out this $100K check raise river bluff from this same session: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYiuZo2ai5mDi6s Thanks for watching! These hands are from a high stakes game that was filmed back on May 24, 2019. The first half of this 10 hour session was livestreamed the same day, but the second half wasn’t aired until December 27, 2019. It unofficially became a Million Dollar Cash Game, as the players combined had $1 million+ on the table.

Yeah, this looks like the session where Andy got it in on the river with a one card top full house to Jackie's quad nines. That is why Jackie was up about the same amount.

I learned from Andy. Don't play with QT. You either get beat up by quads even if you get a full house or beat up by bluff even if you get a straight.

6:34 - Man Andy is restacking those chips really close to the line. Any of those chips fall forward I'm sure he'd be forced to call the all-in. Then again, maybe they should have fallen forward:)

Is dans snap call with aces on the Qkx paired river river standard? Jon’s 4bet range is obv TT-KK, sometimes some funky A-rag suited Does he continue blasting jacks, and A4 suited like that as a bluff when dan calls position like that? I don’t think so. Dan should’ve thought about the river at least
@EetuKorh4 жыл бұрын

Set of King’s is a full house on the turn you big dummy. Those draws don’t matter. Are you people new?
@danielchow31383 жыл бұрын
If he’s calling the flop and turn .. he’s definitely expecting an all in on the river so yeah he only loses to KK which percentage of having KK is there obviously.. but the fact that he had alrdy committed too much in the pot . Judging by the way the Preflop played out, AA is most likely the hand that John can have. AK or KK would’ve slowed down on the 4th bet

@@messl2940 yeah for sure. I dont know how you can recover from that loss. I lose $600 in a session and I get depressed af. Even if you have the bankroll and can technically afford the loss, it still stings a lot.

Am I the only one that thinks John should have been able to get away from aces there? Easy to say when you can see the cards but what worse hands are really gonna call off. AK maybe? He blocks that pretty heavily.
@mauckseejain84234 жыл бұрын
He might have thought but pot was already huge he know if he bets small or allin dan is in . That was really tough to check on river or small bet
@michaelmee92464 жыл бұрын
AK and KQ. Checking won't induce many bluffs here so he can either shove to get value from AK or KQ or check/fold if he is certain villain will only shove KK/QQ! If he is not certain of this, then definitely shoving must be better.
@rossasaunders21314 жыл бұрын
Its far easier to put your opponent on a hand like KQs there when he flat calls turn after just flatting the 4 bet pre. KQ makes a lot of sense in this spot given the pre flop action and the 3 on the turn is just too juicy a card to ever fold aces on a blank river tbh. I think he played it perfect and it was just a cooler

I know you math wizards love to think it gives you an edge, but the shittiest/drunkest/maniac players with no math, will beat you if he's catching cards. You can argue the "long run", but unless you play with him every day, the long run is meaningless. Using math is great, until you hit variance, then it's nothing more than religion. I love watching you guys go on tilt, criticizing other people's play because it doesn't fit your beliefs in the game. If that's not a religion, I don't know what is. At least religious people admit, for better or worse, it's all based on faith.
