In poker, the word angle is used to describe a way of gaining an unfair advantage at the tables. The act of deliberately trying to find and use angles is referred to as angle-shooting. Not all forms of angle-shooting are directly against the rules of poker but telling a player you didn't look at your cards when you definitely did, is absolutely an angle.

Webster definition of poker: Bluff, BS, play head games, screw with, etc.. to win. The whole premises behind poker is to keep your opponents guessing. This is why you pay attention to everything at the table and do not look at your hand until the action is on you and even then you still watch everything going on..this is what you call getting hustled by an old school player the game was so much better before it got on TV you could say what you want good or bad, move chips towards the pot to get a reaction, stack chips in the middle of the table and leave only one chip if you did not release your hand from the stack any trick or thing you could do to help you win is gone now because the trend crowd ruined the game and now the majority of those players went broke or lost to much money and dont even play anymore..i seen dealers get spit on punched kicked you name it and the player would not even get talked to by the floor i give old school dealers credit they put up with alot of BS back in the day and kept dealing the cards like nothing happened..the crazy things that used to happen was half of the fun to go out and play because you never knew what would happen next..lesson learned dont believe a poker player at the poker table a good portion of the game is based off of you lying that is the game period..
