For me, having a controller with all the functions available with Pro software, having all the necessary out/inputs to hook up to multiple devices and durability.

I’m not close to being a Dj. What I like about your channel is you’re a teacher. It helps me understand what it means to be a Dj. Please don’t forget that some of us are learning and this is new. Great job👍👍👍👍👍

Nice. Thorough review. I have owned two DDJ SR for ten years and made a good living with them. To me it’s all about taking care of my clients, not the gear. I will be picking up one of these. Thank you for your work.

It is still a valid option to buy in 2020? How's the sound quality? Good enough for gigs? Amazing video, constructed from very solid POV's.

Thanks for this. Been in the clubs for years as a percussionist. Kinda retired now due to becoming a dad and being old(ish) 55. I think It’s time for me to learn some Dj skills. Just for home and maybe the odd party. What do you think about the ddj800

So I’m a mobile Dj and I’ve been using a pioneer ddj sb2. I want to upgrade but so many people say the SR2 is crap. My budget is around 700. I assume my other choices would be the NVII or the NS6II. Let me know what you think. I do t really need 4 channels.
@djAXCESSmusic4 жыл бұрын
I won an SR2 and I would not call it crap. Just make sure you get a nice case for it and take care of it and I think it is a great choice at that price point. It will also have less of a learning curve and keep you in the Pioneer DJ space which is the most popular for DJs. Hope that helps!

My must have is 4 independent channels faders, portability & DVS. My NS7II got too heavy for portability so went with NS6II. Found it more portable than an SX2 with my features. How was the Primo?? I was about to get it if looking for 2 channel faders over the SR2. Thanks for your videos!
@djAXCESSmusic5 жыл бұрын
Primo wasn't bad, but I prefer the Pioneer layout. I know fellow youtuber DJ P DOT likes the Primo better than the SR2
@DjTecniq4 жыл бұрын
DJ AXCESS Primo has full pitch sliders, aux input and sounds so much better compared to the SR2. And the phono preamp sounds superb compared to Pioneer. And gotta love the LED jogwheel indicator. The SR2 has none of that and it costs more. SR2 still a great piece of gear i feel the Primo is what the SR2 should of been.

Great controller but very limited to the Mixars Primo i have. Just sold my SR2 for $550 w/flightcase on fb and i just purchased the 1000srt👌🏼

This sr2 controller is crap and the sound quality sounds like rubbish , a better option for mobility and features and sound quality would be the Roland 707
@DjTecniq4 жыл бұрын
True. Mixars Primo sounds superb compared to the SR2 I’m sure Roland does as well. They use better audio components.

Sure they do. That's like saying a "real" driver doesn't use cruise control. It's a tool. There's nothing "magical" about being able to sync yourself. Nice skill to have but no longer NEEDED.
