My door handle broke off on drivers door, and small part inside fell inside I think, so can I just install the new handle without doing all the bolt work?

Doing a replacement on mine, need a black one with the chrome accents to match the rest of the car.

Love the paper trick to catch the bolt. Not all of us have magnetic wrenches. Only thing you missed was not mentioning the bolt size but that has been covered in the comments. Good video.

one quick question: it looks like your sonata color is the same as mine, silver (color code: SM). In your video, you showed the spray paint briefly, which one should i buy? Could you let me know the exact name or link? thanks

@@daniellealarid8984 I have already left my word for you 'thank you so much' but KZbin keeps deleting my reply. Don't know the reason, but maybe I asked you with the link. I just asked if it's touchup aerosols

Bought a four pack off of Amazon a couple years ago for my 2010 sonata. Painted them to match. I have replaced 3 so far. It is an 8 mm head on the bolt. I use a short 4-1/2 piece of 1/2" pvc conduit which fits perfectly in the hole. A 1/4" x6" extension on my ratchet with a magnet tipped screwdriver in my pocket just in case the bolt wants to sit in the tube and your all set. Only takes a few minutes. I keep the spare handles and the tube in the trunk spare tire well.

Going to try this today on rear door handle.

Rear handle comes from the inside of door. Little tough to see the 5/16" nut. Mine, the nut stayed in place and did not come out or drop inside door when I loosened it. Just be careful putting cover back on. Don't push it on and knock bolt off.
