The use of computer technology in the courts was inevitable like the introduction of aadhar card and e-payment methods to the general public. What is important is to appoint the best of the legal persons as the Supreme Court Judges and CJI. I'm sorry to say that the CJI Chanrachud learns most of the Laws from his learned counsel Kapil Sibal. There's so much of corruption there in India that even in the appointments and transfers of the learned judges there is a lot of political manipulation. There are many seniormost and experienced legal persons still there awaiting their promotions in India.

Hindi-izing the criminal laws reeks of Hindi imperialism and South Indians never like that. This development is detrimental to the 'unity and integrity' of the country. These three new criminal laws should be withdrawn or repealed forthwith and the status quo as before 30 June 2024 be restored. For more than century we have been remembering and saying Section 302 of IPC is for murder. Now we have to search the new law and see if it is 101 or 102 or 103, etc. and a common man can never learn the purport or meaning of law. It is surprising even Jaishankar, the able foreign affairs minister, more conversant in English than in Hindi, and a South Indian I suppose, sits mum without a whimper of protest! And the CJI too has nothing to protest or at least differ!?

Judiciary is lagging behind in so for as the efficient justice delivery is concerned. The defect is not in laws already existing. The reason for delayed justice is embedded in non functionality of our courts. The non interference of Supreme Court in matter of implementation of new laws is itself evident to its non functionality in the time when even more than 100 years of practice has established a reliable system and a landmark in world legel history.
