It’s important to lose weight before this surgery otherwise it would slow healing process or even affect the bones during consolidation, l wish every patient is reminded that months before surgery , you can’t come being overweight

@@jt-ku7jn The earlier you stand up the better. The heavier you are the harder it is for your weakened legs to stand. Also if you are too heavy the load bearing nail might not be able to support you, therefore forcing you to sit on a wheelchair while you diet.

Be happy with the way you are created. Going through this process, walking like a zombie just to add a couple of extra inches to your height aint worth it.
