He's really good at getting into character! I call them the Beetlejuice arms. One of my favorite things is that Alex loves to always have his arms up as Beetlejuice, so he always looks a bit like a raptor and rarely has his hands by his side. I did look into what MJ mentioned (stimming) and I think those sorts of actions are just what Alex is bringing to the character. On the other hand, MJ's comment just helped me to diagnose quite a few tics that I thought were random, so I appreciate that info!

milo smith You’re totally right that he should have won but he actually doesn’t damage his vocal chords at all doing the voice because he uses parts of his throat that most people can’t. @sciencesold_2 жыл бұрын
@@blah7983 too cold? This was filmed in spring, at the coldest it's 60, nobody is out there in winter gear. And he is singing live, he's got mics under his wig that stick out on his forehead, PLUS if it was prerecorded why would his mic feed back at 1:05 when he walks from the side walkway on the main performance area and RIGHT NEXT TO A SPEAKER? That doesn't happen unless those mics are live and have signal sent to those speakers.
@elizacarrie74332 жыл бұрын
Let’s call it a draw. Eddie definitely rewrites the song, considering the background dancers sometimes have different lines for different performances, and not unlike celebrity singers they probably record a version ahead of time to play in the background as a guide and a fallback. But Brightman is definitely singing, which is clear from the feedback and some of the quips
