I'll have to show this one to dad, see if thinks he could do it, looked really pretty! The lake being calm? Unheard of lol
@LIVEONALBERTA Жыл бұрын
Yes you definitely have to do it. The ups and downs are pretty mild. The rock is not bad but just have to take it slow😊

@LIVEONALBERTA Dad has an issue where he can't feel the bottom of his feet really well, so rough terrain is kinda iffy unfortunately. But I'll make him watch this and maybe we can add it to the list for next year!

@EmmaLead11 Even if you can't go all the way across the rock to the falls it's a nice hike the length of the lake😁

Great video and wow not often you get a calm day at that lake, I think i have only been there maybe 2 of 3 times with it that calm. normally its windy to hurricane depending on season. I often wonder as I cross the Paliser rock slides what it would have looked like when that mountain collapsed, quite the site I suspect, great video keep them coming

Ya I was shocked when we got there and the lake was so calm😯 Now I know the name of the rock slide area, thanks Dave. But the winds came back at the end of our hike🤣🤣🤣

@@LIVEONALBERTA As far as I know that slide has happened twice, and the mountains has not finished yet, it would be amazing to see but from a safe distance. I do like to do the lake loop hike that is always a nice one. other than the crowds ate the rawson end.

@davebloggs I haven't completed the loop in a couple years but plan to again, but have to hit Fossil Falls first😁

About how long is the "rocky section?
@LIVEONALBERTA4 ай бұрын
It took us about 30 minutes to get through this section. It had a pretty good path through it.
