Tuomas Holopainen - Music Inspired by The Lives and Times of Scrooge (Vinyl Review)

I think this is one of the most misunderstood albums for a long time. I've read reviews where they wonder why on earth would anyone make an album about Ducktales character. That's pretty much as wrong as you can go. You have to know and love the Don Rosa's work to appreciate this music. The Rosa's book is much more than just comic for children. He combined every little detail that Barks casually dropped in his stories about Scrooge's past. From that puzzle he created that 12 chapter epic. If you know that you get much more out of the album. And I don't think that this should be considered really a Tuomas Holopainen's solo album. The album cover says "Music insprired by..." and then "written by Tuomas Holopainen". So, it feels that the music and the story is bigger than the artist. Holopainen was just the guy who put this project through. By the way, pronunciation of those names was quite funny :)
