Hello Dr. G; I have stage 4 NSCC of the right lung. The cancer has metaswized to the liver, and the pain at times can be excruciating, in the exact area that you mentioned, also (Right front chest area, on outside, as well as inside. The pain continues around under my arm, and in the back area by the right shoulder blade). My appointment with my oncologist isn't until next week. I am on Tramadol.(50mm) and am presently taking it. It just doesn't do anything to ease the pain. Any suggestions on a pain medication that will ease the pain? Even something that will ease the pain 50% would help. Really look forward to your suggestion. Ron

So i got pain in liver area from time to time when i walk home from work.. i also i feel sleepy more then its normal. Like i can sleep 10 hrs per day.. im a bit overwaight also.. but those are all the symptoms i got. No swallen legs, no yellow skin or eyes, etc.. your opinion doc?

I forgot to mention, pain goes away if i put pressure on it with hand..

@@nedimmrsic2173 After just reading your post, that when you put your hand on liver area, "pain goes away". My liver cancer has metastasized from my right lung. I too discovered that applying pressure with my hand, it relieves the pain, thus by laying on my right side. while sleeping, the pain is minimal. Have you found a medication that has relieved the pain? I'm taking Percocet 5.360MG, but it really doesn't help much. Sometimes the pain is unbearable. Still trying to maintain a positive attitude. Ron
