I was diagnosed with liver cancer yesterday and I'm waiting for my biopsy to know what kind of cancer, how aggressive and my treatment. I have severe pain on my right side and lower back. I've had it the pain for about a month. I am 53 years old and never been a drinker. Thank you for a very explanatory video.

I was curious if you had high liver Ast and Alt. I have severe pain as you described and went to ER AND MY ALT WAS 444 AND AST was 554. They can't figure out why. I don't drink no meds. My CT scan was clear.

Though this is belated but I personally, I do not advise biopsy as most times it makes a benign tumor to go crazy and matastize . Better to do the CT scan and ultra sound.

I found out I have liver cancer this past September, I'm waiting on a biopsy with intervention radiology, with sedation. I don't know what type of cancer treatment yet, I don't know what stage of liver cancer im yet. Im expecting a great deal of pain in my arms, shoulders and the back of my neck! None of my doctor's seem to care about how much pain im in! 😔

Doctor, you describe stages very well. My wife died at 35aged due to liver failure 11month ago. Unfortunately We couldn't find early signs to recover herself. I started to consult a doctor with her rightside stomach paining. It's too late. Checked with CT scan.its showed liver got larger and some tumors. We treated chemotherapy treatment, fighted to save her whole year.useless.she weekend day by day.

I have had a ultrasound scan which shows changes on my liver. I have had pain in my right side for a few months now and lots of gas in my tummy. They said it was gastroenteritis gave me omeprazole. The pain is still present. I am very gassy especially after eating. Loosing wt still I am worried I find your Video very informative. Thanks

77 years old male with poor hearth condition and diabetes. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Oncologist says there’s nothing to do :( won’t even recommend a treatment. The patient is weak but in good spirits. The patient is also having difficulties eating due to the cancer affecting the esophagus. Sounds like the health provider is giving up.

There were times in which which we doubted the decision to not proceed with the chemo and surgery. But at the end , he enjoyed the last weeks of his existence.

A few days ago I felt a pressure in my upper right abdomen it has subsided now but I’m worried keep in mind I’m 20years old , I don’t drink or smoke , however due to where I’m from I tend to like spicy/salty food I hear this isn’t good similarly I do like candy a bit , not overweight and play football/soccer often

Please can someone help and advise me? I’m in the U.K. and in October 2019 was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer had the Whipple operation in November 2019 which was a success(they said they found minute cancer in nearby lymph nodes and removed them and I had 6 months of chemotherapy I had yearly checkups and was given all clear until 24th January 2024 I had a ct scan and was told that a lesion was found in my liver 2.5cm (only one but near or attached not sure to vena cava artery soo it was incurable and inoperable I had an MRI scan with contrast and also a PET scan I spoke with the surgeon who did the whipple he said he thought it might be the pancreatic cancer met to liver however the oncology where not too sure they said that typically if it was the pancreatic cancer it would have metastasis normally with two years of original pancreatic cancer (it’s been 4 years 2 months) they said they believed it was possibly a new cancer primarily in my liver and said they would like a biopsy problem was the position of the lesion after an ultrasound scan they said too close to the vena cava and therefore too dangerous to do biopsy I haven’t had any treatment am awaiting oncology to sort but they have said because of not being able to have biopsy they are going to treat as metastasis pancreatic cancer my worry is what if it is liver cancer and not metastasis pancreatic surely the treatment won’t work It’s my life they are gambling with please can you help how can I get an answer I just do not have confidence I have asked for a second opinion but that is taking way too long!! They said if metastasis pancreatic cancer then I only have 6 months without treatment it’s been nearly 4 months since it was diagnosed and obviously has been there a while before they found it! It wouldn’t just appear at 2.5cm My only real symptoms is fatigue I haven’t lost weight or appetite I have had pain since the whipple operation so that has net been different so please please can someone please help me what should I do to get answers can someone do a biopsy when it is near major blood vessels?
