I've been watching this guy for a very long time and I miss him and Lance so much. His videos were excellent and edited top class he is a very very talented young man and a brilliant mechanic too . I’m well into my 70’s and have been a Project Amber KZbin subscriber from the lockdown days. Have been a Patreon subscriber for ?? years. Don’t have much but CJs work is well worth supporting - I’m Lance’s Friend level. Pretty ridiculous cost really when you think about it. - a cup of coffee or less. Wish I could think of a pithy saying about a person’s labour deserving to be valued for the entertainment it gives. Why aren’t people willing to pay even a pittance (in my case a cup of coffee a month) for their entertainment?

@@littledrover Here here! I do understand some people are struggling financially, but you nailed it about supporting creators directly. KZbin pays nothing and lets the audience think every creator is earning a wedge. KZbin earns the wedge and creators get roughly 5% depending on country. Unless a creator gets 100k plus these days, they're on less than minimum wage for the hours put in and put up with all manner of hateful people in return. Not suprised in the slightest that channels are disappearing behind things like patreon.

I’ve followed CJ and Lance since 2019. In that time I’ve bought a van I converted and lived in and then bought a boat I refitted and lived on since 2022. There are a lot of fake alternative life channels but Project Amber is the genuine article that continues to inspire along with Lost In Europe.

What a very smart, level headed and down to earth young man, young men like him really restore my faith for the future, so resourceful with a great can do attitude and he is spot on when he talks about convenience, the western world is going to hell in a hand cart with everything needed in an instant and the amount of waste created, having to source water/fuel food etc under your own steam makes for a lot less waste.

I watched when changed the van to manual and completely changed the wiring loom and one wire was not connected and it like looking for a needle in a hay stack boy was he down. But he persisted and found it . Really enjoyed his youtube site. Nice to see he's doing Ok.

I've been a big fan of CJ's since finding his channel during lockdown and his and Ashes adventures got me through some dark times. I'm a lot lot older than CJ and You two but I'm looking forward to seeing your adventures too. If your water goes through 3 filters, if you then had a Berkey filtre for drinking water i'm sure you'd be fine, especially if one of the filtres was ultraviolet. Im in the Pyrenees foothills near Perpignan in a similar very rural wooded position, so i have Starlink too. Have you seen the offers on the new Starlink mini? 25euros a month, i pay 40!
