Has anyone been able to find the second-take audio of Lennon and McCartney working out the harmonies in "Eight Days A Week" in the studio? According to Wikipedia, that was the first song they took straight to the studio to work out, before recording. In other words, they weren't rehearsing or perfecting anything; they were writing it right there on the spot. [Lewisohn, Mark. 1988. The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions. London: Hamlyn. ISBN 0-600-61207-4.] That's audio of them *composing* the song. +Christopher Casey How's that for bringing chills!

Just shows the impact of The Beatles on everyone, tens of thousands of people singing "She Loves You" word-for-word. Today (more than 50 years later) The Beatles are still as important to so many people the world over, a lot of whom were born after they split in 1970. We love them, yeah, yeah, yeah, YEAH!

Cheers M8, always liked the reds after my first love, Celtic. Check out Celtic singing ynwa in 1970 on youtube ''ynwa 1970 Celtic v Leeds'' We all know it's your song and that we pinched it after our euro tie in 65-66, but I hope you don't mind me saying that the 'ynwa' at the Celtic v Barcelona game in 2004 was simply sublime. It came the day after the Madrid train bombings and we showed solidarity with the victims using that wonderful song. God bless the Reds and the great folk of Merseyside
