Two verses come to mind about God loving everyone. God is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 7v11. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Psalm 5v5.

I marched in Pride because I am a female-to-male transgender man. I am also a Christian. I am fed up of being verbally abused by right-wing Christians who have never read the Bible properly and being put down by my fellow LGBT people who's only example of my religion is people like this. I am proud to be a trans Christian but I am ashamed of the hate that fills our world. PS what have I done to deserve being called a sinner, being yelled at in the street, being attacked by strangers. Not on.

What a great story that was! Jesus had a way of really exposing religious hypocrisy. Of course, the Bible's quite clear that we should try to rebuke our fellow men if they're walking in a way which will lead them to eternal destruction; but it also tells us to watch ourselves, to make sure we're mindful of our own sin, and hate it just as much. Recently, when a Christian at a LGBT march was speaking to the marchers in an unloving way, he was banned from taking part in future preaching.

As an ex-born again Christian AND gay man (I left the church at 16 after they held a prayer meeting to 'cast the demon of homosexuality' out of me) - I can see what he's trying to do. These witnessing Christians do not hate homosexuals, but are there to bring the message of salvation through Christ Jesus; our prayer is that you will turn from your sinful lifestyles and repent before almighty God. The word of God says in 2 Peter 3 verse 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I was also there today supporting my gay family and friends and the LGBT community as well. To call this day is a shame is just one opinion against many. The majority that support LGBT came together to support and to have a good time celebrating different sexualities and not just the plain old man/woman coupling. I really think its a shame to show homophobic attitude in a day thats meant to be celebrated, not be put down.

When God saves someone, he saves them forever, and Jesus even said 'no one can pluck them out of my hand'. (They're the only ones God loves.) So you can be an ex-churchgoer, but there is no such thing as an ex-Christian. I'm sorry if you went to a mad church, but you're still going to stand before God, and you can't make excuses like that one. Either you've humbled yourself and had your sins cancelled forever, or you are dead in sin. You know the rest.

If you're a Catholic and a lesbian, there's two things God hates. The Bible says that 'pride brings destruction' - everlasting destruction. God says he loves the humble, and will destroy the proud. Which side are you on? Do what I did: humble yourself in prayer to God, and admit to him you're a sinner who deserves damnation. Ask him to wipe out all your sin. He'll forgive you and promise you eternal life. If you're unwilling to do this, you've had it.

We all make judgements, every day. For example, some of the posters here judge the Christians as 'hateful'. So now that we agree that everyone judges other people, we can look at how we're to do it. There is more than one type of judgement. Harsh judgement is one, and it's forbidden ('Judge not, lest ye be judged' is an example). Then there's a positive type ('judge in a righteous way' - John 7:24), which the Christian is told to do. Your comment doesn't say which type you mean.

The Bible is quite clear concerning sin, in 1 Corinthians 6 verse 9 it says Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Those homosexuals that believe they are Christians are sadly deceived, and need to turn from their sin and come to repentance.

If you are a Christian, you would treasure the Bible, and turn your back on the sinful behaviour it warns against. But no, you've sided with God's enemies against his people. You can lie to yourself, but the triune God sees you for what you are, a sinner who needs to repent. A few more points: (1) The preaching was loud because the marchers were loud; (2) If you were a real Christian, you would freely admit that you're a sinner; (3) No Christian 'attacked' you.

You claim there were just ten Christians, and then ask how many joined us. The implication is that you are taking comfort in the larger numbers of marchers and supporters. Firstly, that suggests you despise minorities. Secondly, the Lord God always works with the few against the many, so that men do not rob him of his glory. The Bible says there is a broad road which leads to destruction, and most people choose it. But there is a narrow road which leads to eternal life, but very few walk on it.

Why do gays feel the need to tell everyone they are different by have a big parade? Integrate a bit more into society and you wouldn't get the haters.

If you claim that the believers said they hate you, or they encouraged others to hate you, you're a downright liar. Give us just one quote to back up your claim. The Christians love you, but if you think this should be expressed by agreeing with everything you do, you have no idea of what kindness is. And I think you'll find that we were the minority, and the marchers were the ones spouting hateful comments. It's obvious you didn't think much before posting.
