Liverpool Gyro

From my new base at Sleap (EGCV) I gave my neighbour Mike his first ever flight in a gyro. Blessed with great weather, we got to fly over the wonderful playground we get to call home, including flying low over the Dee Estuary marshes, then across Wirral to the world famous Liverpool Pier Head and waterfront.

Great and fun video. However, there is a lot of free software that will remove the optical distortion (fish-eye) that will make the video easier to watch.

Another excellent video and flight thanks, always good to watch and learn from. I'm curious as a fellow MTO3 newly qualified pilot, what was your strategy and mitigation for and engine out while flying over Liverpool city and Mersey? I think you were approx 1200' amsl and I couldn't see too many landing opportunities. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks. Options were Cammell Laird on the Wirral side and the cruise terminal boarding dock on the Liverpool side. Not great, but that's true of quite a lot of real world flying. And probably significantly better than the EFATO options from EGGP R27...
