I am not a Liverpool fan but I said same too. He would rather have left in January than telling them he would leave Ene of the season. This was expected, mainly because if you see his team they seem to fight more for him than the Club, that is how inspiring and lovable he is by his players.

They are saddened by Kloop's decision to leave, you can see from the way they carry themselves in matches that there's no inspiration anymore. Whoever takes the job has a big role to fill these guys were built by Kloop he is more than a mentor to them

I've been asking about Klopp's underachievement for quite some time, but my friends who are Liverpool fans, had always standby Klopp. For me, Klopp is like Arsene Wenger. They achieved a lot, but run out of ideas in the later years. At least Klopp recognized it, and resigned before fans turn against him.
