It certainly has. I have now spent ten years in Liverpool, both as a student and I've also worked there, and I absolutely love this town. I'm also hoping to come back to Liverpool in early September for the next two years.

Me Mam was born there in 1905, she was a great little gal, from off Scotland Rd, always telling us kids about the tough life she had, before WW1, and tough school life. Strangely, she never spoke with a regional accent.

I enjoyed the video.I was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. Both Liverpool and Newcastle were ship building ports.I would say they are similar in many ways.

interesting how they were quick to rip all the old trams , only to moan about all the cars years later and subsequently relaunch the trams !!
