I could be wrong but I just don't see this signing happening...I don't think he is what they want at the moment now that they have Endo. I think it will be a more versatile midfielder that can play as a 6 or an 8...an Andre, Kone, etc. I think they could end up buying a left footed CB instead if they don't get Andre this window. There are a few journalists who think we will go in an pay the extra Euro 10mill for Andre to activate his release clause. That would be Euro 40mill for Andrew which is still around half what Doucoure would cost probably. We also need to be mindful that LFC only have 1 non-homegrown slot left in the squad unless someone else is shipped out on loan or sold. That's important as it's not just about penny pinching here folks.....if they are to buy someone and nobody else moves on...this has to be the right signing. That will be why they aren't rushing into this now after the Endo transfer.

Why Bid £70M for Doucoure when we can get Kone &Thuram for about the same money, giving us 2 midfielders, Kone is a great DM and Thuram is a box-to-box versatile midfielder and that then gives us the ability to use Endo as a centre-back when needed which has been widely reported as a role he can do well. get Andre in January for 20M to replace Thiago, THIS IS A NO BRAINER and solves all the problems.
