Yes! Slott dont trust Endo for Prem or UCL but he's more than capable of performing brilliantly and be reliable in cup games and Endo shown that this game, his fighting warrior of a spirit is infectious to players and us fans, YNWA!!!

Could have done better on the Southampton goal imo, tho it was a great strike, & quansah was maybe lucky to get away with that challenge at the end. Apart from that it was a well controlled away win in poor weather, gave a few 1st choice players a needed rest, with no shaky performances from the replacements. Obviously, social media needs content to generate clicks, so results like this get overanalysed & players needlessly nitpicked. But really this was a pretty standard result, very much doubt Slot will do much analysis on it & just move on to the next game.

Endo is my fav player. Although he was playing CB he was everywhere...he was amazing. He single handedly won us Carabao Cup final against Chelsea. He ate up Rice and Rodri at Anfield last year. Love him!!

Endo is a great player, massively underrated, with Mac Allister alongside him last season he had us top of the league with 6-7 games to go in an injury ravaged side and he still contributed massively to us winning that EFL Cup with him as our primary DM, we had a good team but he looked and played amazing last season. Unfortunately for Endo Slot just doesn't want a DM in his style, so I think he'll get most of his play time in the EFL/FA Cups and probably a few hundreds minutes combined in the Prem/UCL. Regardless it's gonna be another 60+ game season and he definitely will feature everywhere at some point and every minute counts when you're challenging on all fronts, there are no garbage minutes for a team like Liverpool, everything matters. Even though he's only been with us a bit over a year he's contributed immensely to the team so regardless with what happens he can absolutely hold his head high as a Liverpool player. YNWA. That said I reckon Endo will probably leave at the end of the season since we'll almost certainly bring in a new DM, possibly even in January, and then having Endo as our 3rd/4th choice DM seems silly for Liverpool and for Endo who is still good enough to go play in a Top 8 team in Germany/France who are trying to finish Top 4 for UCL qualification and might need a guy who they can start in DM right away not caring that in 2-3 years they'll need to replace him. That UCL/UEL money is a big deal and if you're close to getting that Endo is worth every cent if you can get him. Italy is also a possibility but a bit less so and I doubt he'd get much play in Spain as they tend to prefer more ball controlling DM's. He might just be tired of playing in Europe since it requires him to run around like a madman and that's only going to get harder and harder to do each year. If he'd rather gradually slow down whilst making sure he's still at the level to play in and lead the National team he could go back to Japan and play in the J-League, he'd likely get to pick whatever team he wants, probably get the captaincy or vice-captaincy, every year he'd be a serious challenger for the league and domestic knockout cups and play in the AFC against other top teams around Asia. That'd be a very cool way to finish a career. Regardless I truly hope we win the league this year so that no matter what happens Endo will be a Champion of England. YNWA.

Don’t go overboard. He is a decent stop gap. He was the best of the midfielders and was asked to do too much with the youngsters not helping much. I was expecting better from trey nyoni but he was non existent as was Morton. If in this type of game you can’t stamp some sort of authority then you are not ready for this Liverpool team. Elliot showed why he is better than jones and I liked chiesa’s cameo. Him fit would be such a boost. It would be like having a salah/jota type player.

Endo is the best tackler in the premier league currently i don’t care who you can bring up Endo is gritty and grimy he gets down in the mud and works you off the ball the way he uses his body the slide tackles. A daimyo in the midfield. Not the best defender the best tackler he has a way of shoving you off the ball and no even fouling you even the player being tackled has not complaints.
