Local historian, Laurence Westgaph talks about Liverpool's first black citizen, known only as Abell, at an unveiling ceremony at Liverpool Parish Church where he was buried in 1717.
The unveiling of the commemorative stone coincided with the anniversary of Abell's funeral and the start of Black History Month.
