This a tremendous performance. 🎉🎉🎉 but poor Robbo paid a heavy price for us. 😢 It was a real test, and it did show that we need more left footed defensive resources. The tactical response from Arne was inspiring. ❤ He wanted the win, he was angry at what they did to Andy. But his response was cool and clinical. Arranging our side to feel like 11 strong with 10 only. Nunez did his thing, Gravenbaby was truly 👌 awesone, Soboz was an endless engine, Jota's goal was very special. Yes, Robbo got battered in the match before getting battered online >_> ... Definitely a left back who can invert into a left sided 6 could be super useful, like what Blaise Matuidi used to do. Arne is a seriously good tactician and I always trust his intended plans and it looks like the players are responding and carrying out his instructions. YNWA

I see some fans concerned about recent drop in results being equalled to "drop in form". But this happens to any and every team. Barcelona only had 2 wins since beating Real 4-0, and now Atletico Madrid has caught up. Same thing. Not worried at all. Regardless of what happens from here on out, in Slot we trust.

Seriously enjoyable game from min 0 to 90+ and I hope the team keeps the energy up for when we’re at 11 men against a side some might think we “should” beat. Sometimes it feels like we play with MORE passion when down a man, true of Klopp’s teams as well at times, we were lethargic this weekend until Robbo went off. Arne’s ballsy decision to go for the game made me incredibly proud. Second to Madrid and City this was the best watch and best performance for me this season. Good stuff. Spurs finding a bit of form but hoping for the best next weekend.

Hello Si! That was an epic game/watchalong. As much as I find the PGMOL frustrating, we need to focus on supporting the team/players. This game feels like the West Brom game when Klopp took the players to applaud the Kop. OK it was 2 points dropped, and Chelsea are edging very close to us, but I feel this performance, and the return of Jota the Slotter and Harvey wonderboy Elliott will prove pivotal in the next few weeks. Once we get Kostas #greekscouse Tsimikas and Ibou manmountain Konate back, not to mention Conor flying full back Bradley, we will be a force to be reckoned with. We go again! #YNWA

So happy that fans here are not slagging Robbo. I feel so much for him. He was injured in the foul, yet played on because he knew there was no replacement for him on the bench. His heart was in the right place but his body failed him, thus failing to run at his usual speed resulting in the red card. Wish more people would listen to Slot who said at no point did he blame Robbo. Up the Reds.

Dom showed his worth when you a man down, huge work rate a massive help. Robbo had a rough day, Quansah still shaky, but nothing you can do about it in this window imo so you have to support them & build their confidence. Bradley was missed imo, could do with him fit. Same goes for Jota, needs to stay fit really. Slot made smart adjustments, but the players still have to follow instructions & they did. So not too bad a result really, learn from it & move on. But the knocking of players has to stop, it's not helpful at all.

They are definitely our nearest rivals but their defence is so leaky and they are heavily reliant on Jackson staying on a hot streak and Cole Palmer not getting injured. If Liverpool beat them in the return fixture, I would think we would have done enough.

Si, u mention regularly thqt Robbo is weakest on the ball. Over the years he has hardly been found wanting. It seems as if you are "picking" on him unnecessarily tbh.

Im only taking it directly from what the Liverpool boys themselves said in the training sessions over the last few years, quoted from Trent, Mane, Milner, Henderson, Origi. Robertson is the weakest in rondo's and is limited in possession on build up but he performs amazingly in matches through getting onto the ball in front of him, getting record high assists and being amazing in all other areas that a left back needs. It also just shows the strength of the team, because its no insult not to be as comfortable as some of the best technical players in the world like Tsimikas, Trent, VVD etc. Tsimikas has the best left foot in the squad for example.

In a Klopp team, Robertson, but in a Slot team and in Robertson's current condition and age, Tsimikas for sure. Prime Robertson and Prime Tsimikas, I would take Robertson even in a Slot team, but I think they are both good enough with Gomez as an option to see us through this season.
