He looks marvellous on KZbin but so did Lazar Marcovic. That said, this Georgian guy is proven at Napoli at a high level in Italy. He does look on the face of it like he'd make a huge difference to our team. If we did sign him then it would create even more flexibility across the front/midfield. We need to strengthen in other spots but our transfer policy seems to be driven by opportunity, and this could be a big one for our future and right now.

Feels like, if Liverpool are really interested in him, that they will wait until PSG agree a fee in order to avoid a bidding war. Failing that, this could all be part of the contract renewal game with Mo. Spaletti said the player he most reminded him of was Mo, maybe the club are signalling to Mo if he doesnt sign soon they will move for a replacement? The phrasing of our interest is particularly odd, the suggestion that we "could consider" feele like it could have been planted as a threat to Mo and his representatives. I mean, it feels like we need to break this impasse soon otherwise how can the club plan for the summer? Without increasing or withdrawing their offer for Mo this would be the most obvious play.

I am not aware of the options LFC Academy has, but I would love to see an investment in a toptalent CB, who can be the gradual replacement of Virgil starting 1,5 -2 years from now. One of the names circulating is Hancko. This can be done in summer, but he is in the picture of many clubs, so it would be good if FSG doesn't miss this. A deal I would love FSG to make now is Kerkez. That would imply a direct (and needed) enforcement of the squad I think.

This player is way to hyped.... The best he ever did was score 14 goals in a season (League, Cup, European Cup)... He did at the current moment play 107 games for Napoli in the last two seasons and this season add up.... He scored 30 times...... That isn't bad of course... But let's not act as if he will become the next topscorer of the Premier League.... He's a good player for a price of 30 million English Pound, but certainly not worth the amount that Napoli does ask.... Napoli is still in competition to win the Serie A this season and still playing European football, they will not let Kvaratskhelia go unless they can get the "jackpot" for him.... Liverpool management will never be so stupid to do this.... The amount of money asked by Napoli is way to much for such a player.... If Liverpool needs a talented striker who is on the brink of making his breakthrough, I would go for the US player from PSV Ricardo Pepi... He played 884 minutes for PSV so far this season and he scored 13 times. He played in the National League (634 minutes and 10 goals), National Cup (90 minutes and 2 goals) and UEFA Champions League (81 minutes and 1 goal). That is an average of one goal every 68 minutes. His price ticket is just below the 15 million English Pound.

Disagree! He's a fucking baller, watch the Osimhen all goals highlights for when Napoli won the league, it was KK pinging it perfectly it on his head or foot from the left most of the time. The Euro's, he was quite frankly amazing and carried them to the knockouts (along with that goalie we've already signed for the summer). Great creativity to bring off the bench if the front 3 are misfiring. He's also technically amazing and can keep hold of the ball when the game situation requires. David. Love your content. But it is very frustrating that the club only strengthen its squad during the January window when we are not title contenders for the past 7-8 years. The years we were 1 point behind Man City i remeber not adding anyone during this window and lost the titles. It is always a good idea to bring in at least 1 fresh player. Gakpo and Diaz came in when we finished 5th in the league if i remember correctly, so from my view the club is always doing business in reverse order... If we are not adding anyone this January im afraid the same faith will end up happening to LFC.

Orstein only said Could not Would. For me our two Gakpo and Diaz have been superb this season. They have proved they are use to the physicality of the Prem. For me we need a quality striker and right winger. I would sell Nunez, Chiesa and Jota for different reasons, not good enough (Nunez), not able for physicality of Prem (Chiesa) and horrendous injury record and then takes too long to get match fit (Jota). Kvaratskhelia is a predominately a left winger

I'm all for selling Nunez, and Jota. Nunez has had more than enough time now, he's simply not good enough and we can use the money from him to bring in a more clinical central attacker. Jota, absolutely love Jota but he just can't go any decent time without picking up long term injuries. Gakpo has definitely got better now being played in his best position, Diaz difficult one, he is versatile can play lw or rw and decent enough through the middle. Salah, is he staying or going who knows but if he does then we definitely need more clinical forwards brought in. Cheisa, I think if you can get him fit and staying fit, which is the big question then definitely potentially a brilliant player in there but going by his time already it's not looking likely.

Listen, I think he is a really exciting player and I love watching him in full flow but from my understanding he is a left sided winger?!? Please correct me if I’m wrong? Do we need a player in that position right now? I think it would be more prudent to look at cover for Gravenberch, left back or centre back?!? But it’s always exciting when there’s transfer talk. I hope this doesn’t mean Diaz is possibly on the way out though?
