Massive shoutout to Taki Minamino who looked a little subdued in the celebrations. We would never have reached both the finals(Carabao and FA cup) and won it without his goals. He deserves all the love , respect and support for his contribution ❤️

As much as I love him, no. Think of the other managers from our history who don't have statues but won a LOT more over a longer period. He's a great manager, I love him as much as the next man, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here, Paisley left in 82 and didn't get a statue till 2020 and he won 7 titles in 9 seasons and 3 CL's. Fagan was only here 2 seasons and won a treble of League, league cup and CL in his first season and lost a CL final at Hysel the following season, finished second and made the FA cup semis, he got THAT close to back to back trebles! Kenny doesn't have a statue yet and he's our greatest ever player, one of our greatest managers and did more for this club than anyone has through the Hillsborough disaster and the 30 year fight to clear the fans names and get justice. I think Klopp would be the first to raise the issue of Kenny if he got a statue before the great man, which he won't

Minamino has not been forgotten, no way. Elliott, Jones. None of them boys will be forgotten, not this season. They played their part in Liverpool getting here. Liverpool have a squad that can win the cups, foreign or domestic. But they have a strong enough squad to compete with the best in the league, and every season since Klopp has been at the club, Liverpool have improved. Every year. I've watched Liverpool when Bob Paisley was manager, so when people say this is the best Liverpool squad ever, you can believe them. And Klopp WILL make them stronger. We might just get our just revenge on Real Madrid to clinch the CL, but I feel that we were 2 draws too many to win the league and get that QUAD. But I think Klopp can actually do it.

Absolutely, if the season finished today I'd still be over the moon, two more trophies, incredible mid-season business in the transfer market, Klopp signs a two year extension, 9 goals against the has-beens in Manchester. But we still have one major final to go (and revenge against Madrid) and we will be in contention for the league on the final day of the season if we beat Southampton. If you offered me that last August I'd have laughed in your face.

I always said the Gerrard was our greatest captain. He kept us someway relevant during the wilderness years, dragging our team along when things were bad, scoring priceless goals, being a credit to us on and off the pitch. It's easier to be the captain when you are winning. That said, Hendo is a wonderful Liverpool captain, signed when we were down, stuck with it when he was overlooked and grabbing his chance when Klopp saw his potential. He deserves all the plaudits he gets.

I worried if he didn't play, he's the heart and soul and feet of Liverpool. With this current team I just trust Klopp, I don't worry if a certain player (incl. Hendo) couldn't play. Klopp will try to sort it out.

@@rparinpuia3678 Gerrard’s captaincy wasn’t very good and himself, along with Carragher, played a part in some of our best players leaving because they misunderstood the concept of the boot room. Gerard is a better player, no doubt, but how Henderson conducts and leads the team off and on the pitch is superb, and he has been a massive reason for this teams success.

I wouldn't call it lucky, unlucky that we had an injury crisis never seen before. We lost every fit first team CB for almost the entire season. City have lost all but one first team CB right now for a handful of games and they're being called all the great names under the sun for managing with those missing and drawing against WHU. So where's our credit for playing an entire season missing all our CB's, our DM most of the season, our world class playmaker for a chunk of the season? City won't get treated how we were and be written off of the title race next season by media ignoring the injuries, they'll be praised if they win it BECAUSE of the injuries and given the caveat of injuries should we win it, even though those injuries were for like 3-4 games at the end of the season and not the whole of it.

You guys probably didn't know this, but during the Gerrard era, lfc had season after season of bad injuries to key players, one after another, like mcmanaman, owen, fowler, redknapp, etc. They were great teams with great players and great managers, but the team couldn't perform at its best due to those persistent injuries. The huge difference that klopp has to his advantage nowadays is the depth of the team. One or two bad injuries won't really knock the team out from contention
