In this series, Lives of the Sahaba, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi discusses the lives of the noble companions, some of the greatest and most blessed human beings to ever live after the death of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him [S].
While not a comprehensive history of the Khulafa Ar-Rashidoon, this series will provide a summarized biography of the men and women considered to be the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet [s]), including the Mothers of the Believers (the wives of the Prophet).

I hope there will be a story that the Shia group believe 12 imam. I just want to know all of their story from the Sunni perspective. This lecture is relatively much better than most of other lectures by this sheikh. At least, I did not see any obvious insult to the Prophet (sws) in this specific video, and I am thankful to the sheikh for that. I am also thankful to the sheikh for giving his audience a much-needed break from narrating spicy stories about the Prophet's personal married life and a record of consummations of his 'newly acquired' (ma'azallah) wives. For the first time in this Seerah series, I found my mind focusing on the exalted Prophet's real mission of bringing an extraordinary revolution to humanity, and not raiding and plundering caravans for spoils, and acquiring beautiful women to include in harem, and the unseemly mutual jealousy of of our mothers of believers. That was a big relief for me as a Muslim and I am grateful to the sheikh for that.The point that the Prophet freed all his personal slaves is something that we MUST expect from from a man who followed the Qur'an all his life as per the Qur'an itself. So, if the Qur'an says "fake ar-raqaba", then, the Prophet will be the first to do exactly that.Contrary to the popular belief that Islam did not ban slavery is incorrect. The sheikh will do well to reflect upon the Qur'an 47:4, where the POWs are to be either ransomed, or freed out of the good will...no third option. The sheikh seems not to distinguish between "Imaa" and "milk al-yameen" which is another example where the Qur'an is put behind the back and the hearsay folklore are considered as part of Islam.
