... I beg to differ. Evidence for burials is scant.... The jars are in the Golden Triangle, an ancient opium culture area. Look up images of Opium poppies in field. The jars are shaped just like Opium poppy pods, and Scattered randomly, like growing poppies would do. Or, the jars are giant commemorative poppy pod shaped household opium containers. They are not made to hold anything, but are a giant work of art honoring the very important Opium poppy. The hill tribes in this area still use opium regularly. Look up images of Hill tribe opium Harvest. I have thought about these jars, and the Opium culture that probably made them, for 65 years.

That’s probably a cannibalism site and those are cookers. 😢

It makes me so angry that people are just fine with destroying ancient burial sites still. Can we stop at some point? I know I don't want anyone I love having their bodies dug up and displayed for everyone to gawk at. I will never understand why this is not frowned upon by the general public.

Hmmmm.... This is in Laos. I doubt it was burial ground. Never heard about it from my parents or people from Laos. Wrong!!!!
