Livescope Crappie Fishing Techniques Casting Vertical Jigging

I find a few groups of crappie holding very tight to underwater structure. It was hard to spot the groups of crappie, but if the base of the structure had a brighter return I would spend more time watching it to see if there was movement. Catching them is the next challenge! Depending on the situation I had to use different styles of bait presentation. Most were caught using a cast and floating the bait over the bigger structures, and dropping it down to there hiding spot. Other situations required me to park the boat right on top of them and pitch or vertical jig, I think they enjoyed the shade from the boat. 1/16 pink and mayfly seemed to work the best. 5.5 Lews Ultralite, 15lb Braid, Uniknot to 6lb Invizx leader.

It is awesome that you go through the trouble of displaying the description of your rig (knot, hook, lure etc) onto your video via post production. Nice work.

Most of the time when I’m fishing I space out. I start editing and realize I left out some good points. Thanks again for the great comment!

Carlos, this video was phenomenal!! The editing was top, top notch!! Very original ideas. The various camera angles, and views like underwater! Also, the comparison of jig action in water was very cool!! NICE! I truly look forward to your videos!! I watched it last week on my TV and gave a thumbs up but forgot to comment later! Tight lines!!

Been a while since I crappie fished. Will have to try it on Belton sometime. You have a sweet boat setup there. Great stuff 👍

Thanks! Belton can be tough. Water levels changed the patterns and exposed a lot of structure that will be in 15ft soon! Waypoint time!
