I think that was a gar about to munch on that crappie. Here in NM on many lakes we don't have any structure. The crappie are in the bottom during the day, sometimes in weeds and some appear in mud because they come out of nowhere.

I have said many times also the myth of catfish being on the bottom apply to crappie a much as catfish...... Having livescope makes me even a bigger believer........ That was my thinking also.......Thanks

If you're hitting coves, I have my BEST luck at night around green lights on the lake you're on.. Fish move off the structure and are STACKED UP around the green lights, that's where 95%of the bait is when fishing coves at night and you know where it's bait it's fish🤘🏾🎣

Not sure about you but what I've seen lately is as soon as I get about 15 feet of them they'll dive down and sit on the floor and won't react to anything. But I see at least night fishing they're looking around and feeding.

They're several times more active at night and I see they set in ambush position in open water....Amazing how they feed on a particular bait and use the light from above to their advantage......Thanks for your support bro.....

Thanks for you opinion..... I'll tell you this livescope has helped several that couldn't say they can catch crappie before catch more now but I know you haven't used it as there is still a lot of work you have to do before you can make livescope work..... It's only a tool!
