That’s a great tip to help you while on the water. I had the issue and used the same procedure, but ultimately had to replace the LVS32. The problem kept reoccurring when I turned the AHRS on. Thanks for sharing!!

To fix this the right way. 1st rest the unit to factor settings. 2 do your normal setup the way you like your settings. Then make sure you are on a flat bottom (lake) then go into AHRS and disable it then scroll down to pitch angle and manually move the slider up or down until you have a perfect flat bottom on your screen and you know the lake bottom is flat click done . Now go back to AHRS and turn it back on . Done ✅ went to school for Garmin electronics

I tried that exact process u described with my 93sv uhd2 and everytime i turn the ahrs back on it goes out of whack again. I even had a garmen tech on the phone trying to help me. Finally just had to leave the ahrs off which seems to be fine for ice fishing. I have not used it in a boat yet.

Did all your steps but when I turn ahrs on I lose half my screen. Works fine with ahrs off just rocks with waves, not sure what a fix would be

Great tip, thank you. Are you using the LVS32?
@jamiedumasoutdoors Жыл бұрын
Yes I have an older two wire LVS32 transducer. Been thinking about going to a 34 but just haven’t yet.
@chaguie07171959 Жыл бұрын
@@jamiedumasoutdoors I think the LVS34 is overpriced considering is only SLIGHTLY better. The 30% they claim is a marketing statement because that is impossible to quantify. Also when I see on KZbin side by side comparisons its only slightly better. I don't think its worth the upgrade $700 plus tax difference. Maybe the next one will be worth the upgrade but not this one. I keep my LVS32 and laugh all the way to the bank with the saved cash!

My distance on my live scope is way off how do you fix that
@jamiedumasoutdoors Жыл бұрын
Are you saying the forward “known” or “measured” distance from, say the front of your boat to an object doesn’t match the distance reading on the graph? Or is it the depth? I know depth can be skewed if the transducer is angled toward the side, etc., but since it is sonar technology, the unit is reading based on sound frequency. It might be best to give Garmin tech support a call. They are very knowledgeable and can usually walk you through issues you might have!
